The Museums of Prince Edward County are excited to host this site. We are a family of five museums that operate within the Community Development Department for the Corporation of the County of Prince Edward. We are supported by an immense volunteer base. We are also proud to consider ourselves partners in the stewardship of local heritage. In Prince Edward County heritage is all around us. It is hard to believe that this bounty of built and natural heritage is contained in a relatively small island known as “The County.” The roots of this community run deep and it’s seen in our landscapes, architecture, stories, archives and collections of material culture.
